They are silent reminders to students to remember to stay quiet, stay seated, or to always raise their hand before answering a question. They can be customized to fit any student’s individual needs. Since these are just pieces of paper that can be laminated, teachers are able to print these for free off of the internet.
Students who benefit from these cue cards are students with learning disabilities, students with autism, students who have trouble focusing, students with ADHD, or students who tend to get off task easily. They can be used during any classroom instruction since they are taped to the student’s desk. Teachers can even have a symbol they do when they are reminding students to look at their cue cards. It helps monitor behavior in the classroom and eliminate distractions by the student.
